Our Philosophy

We're here to help you eat well with fish and seafood, not to hoard your data. We collect the bare minimum needed to make the site work and to build the plans people buy. We don't sell your personal information to third parties. Period.

Payments and Stripe

When you buy the 7-day plan, we use Stripe to handle the payment.

• We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe handles the payment and its security.
• Stripe collects basic information (like your email and postal code) to prevent fraud and process your payment.

Data We Collect

Here is a full accounting of what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

Your email address. We collect it when you sign up for our emails and when you use the calculator.

Calculator answers. When you use the calculator, we collect what you enter: age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goal and eating style. Your numbers are worked out in your browser. When you enter your email we store it with your chosen eating style. If you buy, the answers you entered are stored with your order so we can build your plan.

Health answers for the paid plan. If you buy the 7-day plan, we ask about health conditions, medicines and allergies. We use these answers only to build your plan and to safety-check it. For example, they decide whether certain numbers should be shown at all, and which foods to leave out. We don't use them for marketing, and we don't share them with anyone for their own use. They are kept with your order so we can answer questions about your plan, and we delete them on request.

Purchase and transaction data. When you buy a plan, we store your email address, your answers, and payment confirmation details. Your plan link works for one year, so save it or email yourself a copy. We do not keep user accounts or login details. Transaction records (email, amount paid and payment status) may be kept indefinitely for accounting, tax and dispute purposes.

Payment processing. All payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. We never see, access or store your full card number, security code or banking details. Stripe collects what it needs to process your payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe's own Privacy Policy. We receive only confirmation of payment status (completed, refunded or failed).

Cookies and analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to see how the site is used: which pages people visit, which step of the calculator they reach, and whether they finish. It sets first-party cookies and records your general location from your IP address. We have turned off Google Signals and ad personalisation, and we never send Google your email address, your name or any of your health answers; events only say which step was reached and which eating style was chosen. When you buy, our server also records the purchase (the amount and an anonymous identifier) so our reporting stays accurate. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site works the same without them.

Infrastructure data. We use Cloudflare to deliver the site and keep it secure. Cloudflare may process technical data (IP address, browser headers) to protect against attacks and keep the site available. Your calculator answers, plan answers and email address are stored in Supabase, a cloud database on encrypted servers.

Email Addresses and Our Mailing Lists

The calculator asks for your email address before showing results. Here's exactly what happens with it:

• Your results: We use your address to send your calculator results and, if you buy, your 7-day plan.
• Free emails: Entering your email also signs you up for our free emails, a short welcome series of practical notes from Sarah. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your calculator results or a plan you bought.
• How we send: Emails are sent through Resend, our email service provider. Like most senders, we track delivery, opens and clicks so we know what's useful and what isn't. This data stays with us and Resend. We don't share it with anyone else.
• No selling, no spam: We never sell, rent or trade your email address. We don't send promotional emails for other companies.
• Deletion: Want your email removed from our systems entirely, not just unsubscribed? Email pescodial@carnivoreweekly.com and we'll delete it.

How We Use Your Data

• To calculate and deliver your results and your 7-day plan
• To safety-check your plan against the health answers you gave
• To process payments and handle refunds
• To look at overall usage patterns and improve the calculator and site
• To understand which traffic sources and campaigns bring people to the site
• To prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.

AI-Assisted Content

A real person sets the editorial direction, picks the topics and keeps the quality standards. AI language models (including Claude by Anthropic) help with research and drafting articles, and every piece is reviewed before it is published.

Your 7-day plan is built by our own software on our own servers, from your answers and a published nutrition database. Your answers, health information and email address are not sent to any AI model to make your plan.

The calculator and plans give general estimates based on widely published nutrition formulas. They are not individual medical recommendations and may not suit your circumstances. Results vary from person to person. Use of this site and its tools is at your own risk.

Data Retention and Deletion

Plan links expire after one year. Transaction records (email, amount paid, payment status) are kept as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your email and the answers linked to it at any time by writing to pescodial@carnivoreweekly.com.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or ask us to delete data we hold about you. We don't create user accounts, so there is no login or profile to retrieve. For purchase questions, your Stripe receipt is your transaction record. Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk

We do our best to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure. By using this site, you acknowledge that you are making diet and lifestyle decisions at your own risk and that results vary. PescoDial, its owners and contributors shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the use of this site, its tools or its content, including but not limited to health outcomes, weight changes, nutritional deficiencies, adverse reactions, financial losses or data breaches. If any part of this policy is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we make material changes to how we handle data, we'll update this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
